Description
Join us at AMTA’s 88th Annual Conference 2026 – On the Move: Shaping Industry for Tomorrow, Today
The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) is hosting its 88th Annual Conference on April 22–23,
2026 at the Grey Eagle Events Centre in Calgary. As Alberta’s premier gathering for the commercial
transportation sector, the conference brings together industry leaders, innovators, government
representatives, and policymakers to explore key topics in leadership, safety, and the evolving needs of a
resilient supply chain.
Each year, the conference attracts a range of attendees from senior leaders and key decision makers to
emerging leaders and the next generation of transportation and logistics industry professionals.
AMTA’s conference features high impact insights from industry leaders on trust-based communication,
safety culture, enforcement trends, regulatory challenges, and emerging technologies shaping
commercial transportation. Attendees will gain practical strategies from expert keynotes and sessions
covering predictive fleet safety, OHS excellence, workers’ compensation trends, disruptive innovation,
and leadership approaches that drive meaningful change.
One of the most valuable networking experiences is the Tradeshow and Networking Night on April 22
from 4:00–8:00 p.m. The Tradeshow brings together a wide range of carriers, service providers,
technology companies, and industry partners.
While exploring the 44 booths, you’ll also see emerging technologies that are transforming
transportation and logistics, including new safety systems, predictive and in-cab technologies,
compliance tools, and innovative solutions that support a more efficient, safe, and sustainable supply
chain. For students curious about how technology and operations intersect, this is a hands on way to
explore what’s coming next.
We encourage you to join us!
