We’re looking for hardworking, dependable General Labourers to join our road construction crews for 30 – 60-days, full-time end-of-season opportunity across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a General Labourer, you will support our road construction crews with a variety of hands-on duties, including:

· A Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from job sites - No vehicle and no class 5 this position will not work for you

· Must be able to successfully pass a drug and alcohol test

· Valid Safety Tickets: CSTS 2020 - Ground Disturbance - Confined Space - Fall Protection - External Flagger Training - First Aid - TDG and Rigging is an assets

· Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends when required

· Previous road construction or general labour experience is an asset

· Supporting paving and road construction activities crews with general labour and site duties

· Performing daily safety and maintenance checks

· Following safe work practices, procedures, and directions

· Working independently when required, while contributing to a strong team environment

· Maintaining a clean and safe work area

· Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally

· Strong team player

· Performing other duties as required
